Under my skin . . .

a far away look crept into her eyes as she gazed up to the sky. wishing she could play amongst the stars; longing for their acceptance. lonesome lullabies of the heart. Glittering - shimmering overhead. Dance with me oh sweet fairies of the night!

My sombre shadows have crept from the wooden chest
hidden deep inside my soul
and I couldn't shut the lid quite quick enough.

I hope the world feels better tomorrow when we wake.

Winter is upon us!

Wrapped with hats, mitts, scarves.
Stomping feet on Crunchy snow.
Cold breeze on my face.

Red cheeks; wat'ry eyes.
Strolling through the white flurry.
Frigid gusts twirling.
